Luck/Fate

A game created for Into the Game Jam - Summer 2024, made with RPG Maker MZ. The theme was "Alchemy of a Coin."

Is it luck or fate that determines our lives? When an accident separates two young lovers, the question must be explored in full.

Luck/Fate is a narrative adventure game with some simple puzzles to solve, much like a series of short escape rooms. This game may take as long as an hour to fully complete. There are two endings.

Controls for keyboard: arrow keys to move, enter to confirm, esc to open and close menu, shift to dash, hold enter to fast forward through events.

Controls for mouse: left click where you would like to move, select, etc. Touch input also works.

This is my first ever complete game. If I had more time, there are some things I'd change, but I am proud of having made this. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Please note the mac version is untested.
